BRM is: To change an attitude and create a culture.
To implement BRM always means a change of culture and attitude. It is inevitable that conflict will follow during that work. As a rule of thumb, you can say that with regards to an implementation of a change in a work place, out of ten people, two are strongly against, two are strongly for and six will accept it with the right argumentation.
This course will introduce you to the principles of BRM and how it may be implemented on board a ship.
Our intention with these presentations is to give you the right arguments for advocating a philosophy that can make up for the fact that people will always make mistakes and by that create safer navigation.
