Although emergencies on board ship are rare, if you are given a duty on the Muster List to assist passengers during an emergency, you are required to know what your emergency role is, where the emergency exits are, how to search accommodation spaces and the importance of keeping escape routes clear.

In this training, you will learn how to improve your organisation and handling in emergency situations, how to improve your decision making, how to lead and influence others in emergency situations and how to improve your communication skills during emergencies

You will also learn to understand stress and its effects in emergency situations and the importance of training drills and exercises,
