Manual Fire Fighting of Gas Vehicles

If a pressurised and liquefied gas tank is located in the vehicle that is on fire or is close to it, it is highly valuable to cool the tank to prevent gas release or explosion. Normally it takes many minutes of flame exposure until a gas tank becomes a risk object, this means that there is time to establish water application. This may be done manually with hoses or with passive cooling devices.

In this video, we will learn more about this.
