Step 1 of 41 minute video

Vacuuming

Seeking Disabled

In this step, you will learn more about how to vacuum the system. A refrigeration system that has been open for a while is likely to contain moisture. Watch the video clip and learn how to remove moisture from the system. Use a hose with sturdy walls, and try to find a connection that's not fitted with a Schrader valve with a non-return function.

Note: If you have detected water in the system, you need to vacuum the system between 12–24 hours.
