Psychological distress is not always as visible as physical injuries, but can be just as painful and debilitating. When people are faced with extreme situations that result in disaster, many will experience intense emotions in the form of apprehension and fear, as well as uncertainty and confusion. In this lesson, you will be introduced to Psychological First Aid, and gain knowledge about how to provide it to affected crew members following an emergency.
