This course is designed to provide up-to-date information and instruction about the global positioning system (GPS), treating in detail the functionality and its usage.

Students will be able to understand the basic functions of GPS, how it works and how it can be integrated during navigation. This course is created for beginners, but can also be useful for experienced sailors. It’s fast, simple, and loaded with useful features and valuable information!

At our school you can study all possible levels of Latvian sailing and motor yacht rights: • Inland sailing and motor yacht manager, • Coastal yacht manager and safety course required if you want to do business, as well as the IYT-recognized “Introduction to Boating”. Certificates from International Crew, International Bareboat Skipper, Yachtmaster Coastal, Yachtmaster Offshore, VHF Radio Communications, Small Powerboat and RIB Master International. IYT has partner schools in 65 countries around the world and IYT training is available at 250 sailing schools.
