We will explore the guidelines set forth by the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, U.S. regulations including 46 CFR 150, and best practices for ensuring safety on board vessels.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the IMDG Code and U.S. regulations, such as 46 CFR 150. They will learn to identify chemical compatibility and use compatibility charts effectively. The course will also cover the requirements for inhibitor certificates and the importance of temperature monitoring for self-reactive cargo.
