Marine Injury and Poisoning

MedAire 31 minutes

A poison is any substance that, if taken in excess, causes an adverse or dangerous reaction. This means that anything and everything can and is poisonous. Toxins enter the body in four ways, ingestion, injection, absorption and inhalation.

In this course, we will learn how to identify and manage fish poisoning, marine envenomations (this is the process by which a bite or sting injects venom) and finally, accidental poisoning.
