This course introduces the basic concepts of tanker fire dangers and firefighting. The course covers the use of fixed and portable firefighting equipment as well as preventative measures taken to reduce the likelihood of fires on tankers.

This course will introduce the fire risks and hazards on a tanker, the equipment required for fighting any fires and how to reduce the dangers involved. There will be a final assessment to ensure full understanding from the reader.
