This course introduces the Bilge Water Management systems found onboard and explains how they are managed. The course covers the legal requirements under MARPOL regulations as well as the operation of the machinery and correct recording measures to be taken.

In this course, we will give you an introduction to the MARPOL legislation. We will describe the use and operation of bilge water management systems, along with the correct method of record-keeping and how to use logbooks. The course will be completed with an assessment of your knowledge.
