In this four-lesson course, you will familiarise yourself with Maritime English and Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP). The aim is to ease communication onboard. The course provides tools for the less easy speaker to get started practising in receiving and giving instructions.

Skilled or native English speakers are also provided with means to adjust or “downsize” their vocabulary to ensure successful communication.
