Karco 32 minutes

This course uses a navigational incident to highlight the safety concerns of the human element in incidents aboard ships. While the case study may be navigational in nature, this course can be used by all to develop an understanding of the human element in incidents and how to mitigate or eliminate these problems from everyday operations.

This course introduces the Deadly Dozen and explains how the Human Element can affect safety onboard during incidents. We will discuss the incident, the aftermath, and look at the company actions following such an incident.
