Weather is the ultimate variable, with an infinite number of possibilities. This course will help you begin to understand the weather, practice checking the sky, looking at the barometer and understanding synoptic charts.

Whilst you are on the spot, the data available to you by looking outside and checking the instruments will allow you to make a reasonably accurate forecast at your location.

The course is split into a number of lessons, starting with 'How is weather created?', moving onto 'Weather Fronts', making 'On board Observations' and finally 'Extreme Weather'.
