The worst has happened, the ship or boat you are on has to be abandoned, and you find yourself in a liferaft. In the raft, you find a SART. It's up to you to seek assistance. The aim of this course is to give you the knowledge and confidence to use a SART in an emergency.

In this course we will give the learner a basic understanding of SARTs.

We look at the use of SARTs in an emergency, the two types of SARTs mainly used onboard vessels, limitations of the equipment as well as basic care and maintenance of the units.
