This course shows how to prepare boats for arrival at their destinations by readying lines, equipment and passengers or crew for the intended arrival manoeuvres. Bringing boats to predetermined points by using a stopping procedure – giving consideration to wind, current and boat traffic. Securing boats to a dock or slip or mooring or shoreline, all by using appropriate lines and knots.

Topics covered include: Preparing for arrival, docking, mooring & shoreline landing, as well as securing the boat.
