In this course, we learn why Gas tankers need Inert Gas for different operations, the minimum quality standards for Inert gas, and how it is produced on board.

The application of each system for different types of Gas tanker operations is an integral part of each Inert gas system. We will also learn about the maintenance of these systems, and the problems we may encounter during operations.

On completion of this course, you will have a very strong foundation and understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of Inert gas systems on Gas tankers.
