This course allows you to be certificated as an Actisense Accredited Installer. It gives a full overview of the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) work, of NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 networks & protocols and how to use Actisense's products at their best.

This course covers the electrochemical series and why corrosion occurs. Also, how to actively prevent galvanic corrosion and what to be aware of in terms of galvanic currents.

Both RADAR and AIS instruments are precious aids in preventing the risk of collisions at sea. The way they work is based on totally different technologies. A RADAR transmits radio signals, receives their echo through a rotating antenna processed, and shows them on the instrument display. An AIS transmits and receives a vessel's navigation information on dedicated VHF channels and calculates the potential collision risk.

In questo corso imparerai le basi e acquisirai una comprensione delle tecnologie a bordo delle moderne barche a vela.

Corso introduttivo sull'uso del VHF di bordo, presente sule imbarcazioni a vela. La radio di bordo è lo strumento principale per le comunicazioni tra due imbarcazioni oppure tra un'imbarcazione e una stazione costiera.

Breve corso base su come usare i numeri durante le regate, in particolar modo nelle regate inshore a bastone.
