SIRE 2.0 Awareness - Bridging the Gap

Intended for: Ship staff (Masters, Deck and Engine Officers) & Shore staff associated with tankers to prepare for the new changes under SIRE 2.0.

Be ready for the new requirements you must be aware of before the SIRE 2.0 regime comes into force.

Crew Training on Effective Manual AFV Firefighting

Intended for: All crew working onboard Ro-Ro vessels.

Working on Alternative-fueled vehicles (AFV) represents different types of hazards compared with vehicles with traditional fuel, such as gasoline and diesel with internal combustion engines. This course by Lash Fire provides guidance for the safe carriage of AFVs to help reduce the risk of fires on board ro-ro and passenger ships.

This course provides a set of instructional videos which address the topics of fire team protection, manual firefighting for electric cars, first response, post-fire stage, and manual firefighting for gas vehicles.

Security Awareness for the Offshore Oil Industry

Intended for: All workers in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Designed by Moxie Media, this course provides the specific levels of training required for compliance with the U.S.C.G. Maritime Security Regulations.

This training is ideal for current and future employees while on the job and will be an excellent addition to new employee, visitor, and contractor orientations to satisfy the current compliance requirements.  Topics include ISPS and MARSEC security levels, recognition and detection of dangerous devices plus much more.

ISO 37001: Anti-bribery Management Systems Introduction Course

Intended for: All workers in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Created by Bureau Veritas, this course is intended to provide you with knowledge on ISO 37001 requirements and terminology.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to describe the impact the risk of bribery has at a high level; identify the differences in forms of bribery; list the regions of the world which feature regularly in bribery issues; recognise the reasons behind anti-bribery measures and discuss the management systems needed to eliminate opportunities for bribery.

Mindfulness for Seafarers - Part 1 of 2

Intended for: Everyone, all workers, management

Taking care of our mental health and wellbeing is so important as a seafarer.  Created by Whitaker Training this two-part course explores what mindfulness means and the personal benefits of practising it.

In the first part, we explore techniques such as visualisation, the importance of breath and how to use it to our advantage, together with a range of practical exercises to complete.

Mindfulness for Seafarer - Part 2 of 2

Intended for: Everyone, all workers, management

The second part of the Mindfulness course continues to delve into mindfulness and brings in some more advanced techniques that we can use throughout our day. This course contains practical elements and covers important techniques such as awareness and labelling.

DENJET CE40-1050

Intended for: Any crew members working with the DENJET CE40.

This guide, created by BSO Svendborg is designed to help operators when troubleshooting and performing repairs and/or maintenance on the DENJET CE40.

A series of maintenance videos and basic user guidance provides useful information from how to change the rotating nozzle, to disassembling and overhauling the cylinder head plus much more.
