BRM is: To change an attitude and create a culture. Implementing BRM always means a change of culture and attitude. Conflict will inevitably follow during that work. As a rule of thumb, you can say that with regards to an implementation of a change in a workplace, out of ten people, two are strongly against it, two are strongly for and six will accept it with the right argumentation.
This course will introduce you to the principles of BRM and how it may be implemented on board a ship.
Our intention with these presentations is to give you the correct arguments for advocating a philosophy that can make up for the fact that people will always make mistakes and create safer navigation.
