This course provides basic knowledge to handle epoxy paint, a thermosetting plastics, onboard. The course aligns with the Swedish Work Environment Authority rules AFS 2011:19.

The Swedish Work Environment Authority requires anyone who handles more than 500 grams of thermosetting plastic components to follow the rules set out in AFS 2011:19. This course will only cover epoxy paint. If you handle more than 500 grams of any other thermoplastic on board please contact your employer.

Those who successfully complete this course should have a basic knowledge to handle thermosetting plastics on board.

Note: This does not meet the requirements of the 2023 Diisocynates Training as per EU requirements.
